What To Do When You Can't Stop Thinking About Someone

The first thing to do when you can't stop thinking about someone is to get outside the box of the thoughts.

Why must you keep thinking about him/her?

What is the center of this thought, Love, Finance, Affection?

Is there any moment that ignites those thoughts?

If you can answer two of these questions correctly according to your true self, you might at once get some ideas or even the definite solutions to stop thinking about someone.

Just concentrate on the well being of your mind -- what it enters and both sides of it's exhibitions.

1. Self distraction.

It is very obvious but if you can really distract yourself for sometime, you are virtually pushing the unwanted thoughts far and more far away from your mind.

Firstly, you have to choose something that can distract you easily and effectively.

It might be an interesting activity, hobby or fantasy.

They must be interesting, adventurous and take away.

Some examples of common stuffs to keep you distracted in order to stop thinking about someone:

Sport. Volleyball is my first choice, football, handball and basketball.

These choices are to be based on interest and nothing more.

Music.

These usually work when you're alone and idle.

Do not listen to blues or love songs so you don't ignite those thoughts.

Listen to motivational songs to keep you distracted and high spirited on your own.

This would definitely push those thoughts to a distant land.

The internet is a good home.

If you're not a good reader, videos and podcasts can keep you distracted.

Focus on excitement.

Just feed your brain with positive and challenging stories for some confident boost.

Other hobbies and activities can be available based on who you are and where you are.

So do not stay idle.

Worry is a waste of time.

Occupy yourself with brain games, in addition.

2. Get Busy.

You haven't finished everything.

Regardless of the position you are or how you feel, there's always something that was left undone.

So brainstorm to figure out that waiting task and get busy.

If the only thing you can think of is to lie down and still can't stop thinking about someone, read a challenging story, a novel.

3. Other people.

Accept other people into your life just the way they are.

Meeting other 'someone' is the best thing to do when you can't stop thinking about someone.

Make new friends and assume that everyone is special.

Believe that you are capable of doing without that someone, or anybody like him/her.

Create a self-awareness intuition.

Spend most of your free time imagining and remembering your achievements, potentials and virtually, the possibilities of making amazing things yourself and the future career.

Live with greater expectations and big dreams.

Be aware of the bigger space. It works!

5. Get the thoughts out.

I have a simple way of getting rid of junks out of my head.

I write them down on a paper or on the screen and save.

On doing this, I usually feel some relief, which always allow me to think straight but undistracted.

Other depositional actions to take when you can't stop thinking about someone is to speak out the thoughts ALL into a voice recorder then save.

You can even make a video but do not watch

Just assume it was sealed and no more on your mind.
